Happy Halloween-2009.

My mom threw a Halloween Party for the family yesterday on the 30th. It was a Pirate halloween party with lots of fun games and yummy food. William was dressed as a frog for my moms party. The funnest game was called "Bombs Away"...this game consisted of two laundry baskets, all of grandpas socks folded up, and two teams. The object of the game was simple try to get as many socks into the other teams basket as you can but by staying behind the lines. It was a hoot, all the children started the game and by the end all the adults their were throwing the "bombs"!
Then on Halloween day we went to our ward party and had a yummy dinner and saw all of our cute primary kids and young women dressed up. We ended up in Bloomington at my parents where we ended up handing out all the candy. It was fun though, Will was in his frog costume for the ward party but then we decided to change him into the Lion costume at my parents house. I wanted to put whiskers on him but ten seconds after I painted on his whiskers he rubbed his face and smeared it all over, but I still thought it was pretty cute so I took the pictures with it all smeared. Lex and I love to see all the kids dressed up and Bloomington is the place to be to see lots of kids. We are wrapping up our Halloween night by watching a couple episodes of our new favorite show, NCIS. All in all it was a really fun Halloween! And we think we had the cutest little "frog" and "lion" out their!

Thriller!

The other night we went to Thriller with Jed, Anna and Bryson. It was so much fun, I love it year after year. It was a freezing cold night, we had layers and layers of clothing on with blankets and I was still freezing! It was so worth it! William loved it too because he got to spend the evening at his Grandma Debbies. I am already looking forward to next year!

Fun Facts about Will at Six months:

-He now eats rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and squash. He has also tried juice and seems to like eating pretty well.

-He is a mover, he rolls all over the place.

-He sleeps in his crib all night and mom and dad are loving it.

-He gets to spend lots of time with his grandmas since dad is working and mom is at school.

-He has to be entertained all the time or he will let you know that he is not happy.

-He hardly ever cries, only when he is extremely hungry.

-Lex says every day that he is so close to crawling, I think we still got a little while.

-He absolutely hates binkies now, which is funny because last month it was probably the most important thing for me to have at all times, but now he just screams when you try to give him one.

-He just patiently waits for someone to look at him and then when they do his whole face lights up and he starts whipping his arms and legs around with a big smile.

-He melts my heart when he smiles at me!

-He is getting cuter and cuter every day!

Six months.

Where in the world does time go?

William is now a Six months, he is growing every day and getting so big so fast. He just melts my heart when he smiles at me. For Will's six month checkup he was so much fun, just babbling and smiling to all the nurses until the nurse stuck him with the first needle. His eyes got watery and he started to cry but it only lasted for about four seconds after each shot, then he would stop crying and just look at the nurse like why would you do that to me? The nurse felt pretty bad and it was sad but I have to admit it was pretty cute the way he looked at them and just huffed and puffed. Will is getting so big, he is in the 70th% for height at 27 inches, 66th% for his head circumference at 17.4 inches, but only in the 15th% for weight weighing only 15.5 lbs. He is getting tall and skinny, his daddy was kind of shocked to see him tall on the charts, cuz' he says that I am such a shrimp that our kids will have no chance.

For Will's six month pictures I was going to do a six pack of the old root beer bottles, but instead my mom had these cute little pumpkins instead. My sister Meagan was standing behind me doing funny dances and noises to make Will smile, it was pretty funny.

Will's an eater!

For a couple weeks Will has been really paying attention to everything I put in my mouth, he constantly is smacking his lips when I am eating or chewing gum. We were planning on waiting till he was six months to start rice cereal, but we started just about 9 days shy of six months. He absolutely loves food! I thought he would just spit it right out but nope, he only spilled a little out of his mouth. Everytime I got more on the spoon and started to raise it to his mouth his little mouth went wide open, he was ready for more! So officially our little man is an eater!

Five Months...give or take.

I am officially the worst mother when it comes to taking pictures. Every month I think, it can't already be the 30th, can it? Well, I was a few days late on his five month pictures, suprise, suprise, but atleast I got it done! This is such a cute little Hurley outfit that is actually a hand me down from my sister Lacey, but the shoes are Will's. My sister Meagans mom Janice always gets the babies a pair or Nike shocks when they are born, they are so adorable!

For Will's five month pictures I decided to put his five favorite things in with him:
1. His Binkies, 2. His Soft Blankets, 3. His Tag blanket, 4. His Elephant, 5. His chain links. These are his all time favorite things to have around him. When I put them all around him for the picture he couldn't decide which one to get first, he kept grabbing things as I put them down.
Fun Facts about Will at five months:
-He is starting to laugh a lot.
-He smiles and starts talking and yelling when he sees his dad come home from work.
-He puckers his lips and says the word "Wo". It's pretty stinkin' cute.
-He clicks his tounge when he watches me chew gum.
-He is ready to start eating real food, he is always interested in what I am eating.
-He has to be entertained constantly or he really starts to complain.
-About a week ago he started sleeping around 7 hours straight through the night.
-He is a rolling maniac, he rolls over and over.
-He still loves attention from anyone who looks at him.
-He still loves his blankets and pacifiers.
-He is still getting cuter and cuter everyday!
